First of all the food is so good. I’m a sophomore and I’ve been coming back since my freshman year. Second the music is amazing. They put me on to so many new songs every time I come, and I love the awesome friendly atmosphere and the relationship between the workers.
This was the absolute best find!! We took a short girls trip to do some Valentine shopping and we were absolutely starving. I did a google search to see what was near us... we were greeted by an amazing staff with warm smiles and helped with the menu. The pizzas were heart shaped for Valentine's Day and tasted amazing! One hundred percent recommend the buffalo chicken pizza and garlic knots! You must try Don Galas!!! We will absolutely be back! I can't wait to try everything on the menu, because I know it will be perfect!
I’m from New York we have the best pizza around but maybe not. I was researching the best pizza in North Carolina been here since 13 and was unable to find a better pizza move forward to today 2025 I ordered from Don Gala as I looked up great reviews but only found others in Greensboro. I instead looked up best pizza North Carolina and boom Don Gala top of list. I ordered an extra lg extra cheese with pepperoni well done and they hooked me up with some garlic nots I live a half hour away so the wonderful smell in my vehicle was torture driving home. I get home wife and kids are ready I dive into the pizza crisp amazing taste not too thick just right the good cheese dough and sauce perfecto I’m hooked. I never got to try the garlic knots but my wife and kids devoured them. My new pizza hot spot and my 3 a day lunch spot the best Don Gala. I got this guy on TikTok that tests pizza everywhere and will make sure he heads your way sorry ate it all no pics this time.
Great food the pizza was hot and fresh. The chicken wings are very good crunchy and hopeful for the new flavors he is bringing out. Also very affordable prices. I highly recommend when in town. Very quick service as well. The owner is kind and friendly.
The Roni Hot Honey at Don Gala is exceptional; it’s my go to order every time. It’s the perfect comfort food after a long day. The owner is outstanding, consistently welcoming to guests and actively supporting the community. We need more individuals like him. They even have a mini pool table and great music.
My first time at, this Fun Filled beautiful restaurant. We love the food, the garlic knots were amazing . Thank you Pizza killed!!!!! The burgers was so delicious fries crispy and seasoned. Service outstanding nice and kind. We will be back try them you won't be disappointed.

I was so hungry I just needed to order. Jumped on Uber Eats. This popped up as the second place. Placed a quick order, not expecting it to travel well. I was really let down by the last pizza I got from a good rated place. So I didn’t know what to expect I got way more than thinking I would be let down again. This may be the best pizza I’ve had in NC since 2010 when I first moved here. Then you couldn’t find any pizza places down here worth any time. Then one opened on Pisgah church. They fell off. Anyway. One of my two other spots. On downtown and one by the college where still up there for me until the one Downtown started going down also. So that left the one by the school. Now, this is the new one to go to by the school. Just a little down a certain rd and make a right and your here instead of there. My God, guys this is top quality food. I mean run with NY/NJ pizza any day of the week. My family wouldn’t know the difference in a blind taste test When I bit into the first bite my childhood came back. You guys nailed it! Your sauce is absolutely top notch. Your cook on the pizza absolutely perfect. And you asked on the app which blew me away. When I tell places well done. They don’t listen. We don’t even have to say anything up north unless you really want it burnt up, which people do ironically. My Grandma God rest her soul. And she put Anchovies, gross And these Garlic Knots are something else. They are crunchy but soft at the same time and had the taste. They are more the size of Cinnabons. Great work. If I was Barstooling this place I would say 8.3. For NC, 9.4. This place is a force to be recon with. Can’t wait to actually come in and taste it out of the oven.
